Blazer frosh fall to BV North

A late rally fell just short and the Blazer freshman football team dropped a 20-16 decision to Blue Valley North, Oct 7th at the district stadium.
GEHS, 4-2, trailed 13-0 at halftime, but rallied to lead 16-13 with third quarter touchdowns from Hunter Skeens and Zach Bass.
However, North took control with an early 4th quarter touchdown and held on for victory.
Offensively, Skeens led the way with 169 yards on 22 carries and one touchdown. Bass had three totes for 21 yards and Griffin Johns- 4 for 17.
Johns completed 4 of 12 passes for 45 yards and one touchdown. His favorite target was Bass who hauled in three catches for 38 yards and one touchdown.
