Gardner Edgerton High School got its offense going and posted its first win of the season at Shawnee Mission North High School last weekend.
GEHS, 1-5, turned back North 8-5 on the strength of a 12-hit attack.
GEHS’ Andrew Halverson stroked a two-run homer, hit a double and drove in three RBIs.
Conner Boyt had a double, two singles and three RBIs. Zach Bass doubled, singled and had an RBI.
Hunter Skeens doubled and had a single. T.J. Burger, Jack Mills and Spencer Scalzi collected one hit each.
