Benjamin A. Vuolo

Benjamin A. Vuolo, Jr., 66, of Gardner, Kansas, died April 24, 2014, at his home.
Ben was born Feb. 23, 1948 in Waterbury, Connecticut to Josephine (Gianelli) and Benjamin A. Vuolo, Sr. He was a 1966 graduate of Kennedy High School, attended Troy State University and served in the United States Air Force from 1966 to 1970.
Ben was married to Nancy J. Pelehach on Oct. 22, 1971 in Bristol, Connecticut. They moved to Land O’ Lakes, Florida in 1986 and then to Gardner in 2011.
Ben had a successful career as a Manufacturer’s Sales Representative with Sherwin Williams, Imperial Wallcovering and other manufacturing firms. He enjoyed travel, woodworking, photography and crafts. He will best be remembered for his joy filled sense of humor and his love of life, family and our Lord.  
He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Sophie.
Ben is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Nancy; daughter Jennifer Antoszewski and husband Terry, of Gardner; grandchildren: Robbie, Rachel and Benjamin; sister Johanna Duffy, of Scottsdale, Arizona and his twin, Bernadette Donnelly, of Waterbury, Connecticut.
A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m., May 12, 2014 at Bruce Funeral Home, Gardner (913)856-7111, www.brucefuneralhome.com.
