Baker earns basketball honor

Spring Hill High School’s Shelby Baker recently earned second team All-Frontier League basketball honors.
The Bronco’s Baker averaged 13 points and seven-and-a-half rebounds per game for Coach Clay Frigon’s squad. She netted a season-high 25 points against Coffeyville.
“Shelby was a leader on the team, and we are excited to have her back next season,” Frigon said.
Members of the first team of the All-Frontier League included senior Katie Jones of Baldwin High School; Junior Megan Bonar of De Soto High School; Carrie Fischer, a junior from Ottawa High School; Natalie Moore, a junior from Louisburg High School; and sophomore Morgan Laudan of Paolo High School.
Second team members included Baldwin High School’s Maddie Ogle, a junior; Brette Moore, a junior from Ottawa; and Paola High School juniors Lyndee Johnson and Tiana Moala.
