Around Town: Pool passes

Are discounts offered for Gardner Aquatic Center season pool passes?

Resident passes are less expensive than regular season pool passes. Family resident passes are $40 less than non-resident family passes, and individual resident passes are $35 less than non-resident individual passes. Right now, the city of Gardner is taking $20 off the purchase of any family pass and $10 off any individual passes purchased before May 3. Proof of residency is required for resident passes.  Current driver’s licenses or utility bills can be used as proof of residency.
Family Season Passes are for immediate family members living in the same household only.  Immediate family is defined as:  The mother, father, children, and/or stepchildren living at home (children must be 18 years and under).
Season passes are on sale from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Gardner City Hall and at the Parks and Recreation Customer Service Center.
The pool is scheduled to open at 1 p.m. on May 25. Kick-off activities for opening day include free treats to the first 250 guests, sunscreen giveaways and a DJ.
