QUESTION: When can I put political signs in my yard in Gardner?

ANSWER: Gardner code allows political signs in yards 90 days before an election. So signs for the Aug. 5 primary election, could go in yards as early as the second week in May. Political signs are not allowed in the right-of-way or on any public utility pole.
City code also requires that the signs be smaller than 16-square-feet in face area and be at least 10-feet from the property line.
Political signs must be removed five days following the election.
