Angels win Gardner Parks post-season league tournament

The Angels 9-10 boys baseball squad posted a perfect 3-0 record and placed first in the Gardner Parks & Rec post-season tourney. After posting a 9-1 regular season record, the Gardner Angels 9-10 boys baseball team won three straight post-season games and won the tournament title.

Pitchers David Adamson, Hayden Mulford, and Ben Yancey led the way with top performances. In the championship game, Yancey tossed a no-hitter with 16 strike-outs.

Adamson was assisted by Tony Taylor, Robert Yancey and Larry Bunce. Team members include: David Adamson (p, 1b); Taylor Bunce (2b, 3b); Cooper Crouch (2b), Tom Fabing (2b, 3b); Hayden Mulford (p, 1b); Cameron Schultz (c, p); Drew Sola (ss); Matthew Swords (3b); Rees Taylor (ss, 3b); Tyler Urban (2b, 3b); Levi Wartner (2b, 3b); and Ben Yancey (p, 1b).

The team was coached by Steve Adamson, Tony Taylor, Robert Yancey, and Larry Bunce.
