Aleman to play tennis at Emporia State

After a stellar career at Gardner Edgerton High School , senior Samantha Aleman will continue to play tennis at Emporia State University next fall.
She made it official Nov. 15 signing a national letter of intent in front of family and friends in the school’s lecture hall.  GEHS coaches Kelly Miranda and Jackie Stahl were also on hand for the after school ceremony.
Aleman concluded her career at GEHS with a school record 107 wins and placed in the top six in four regionals.  She recorded a season record 30 wins in her freshmen season. She just competed in her 4th straight state tournament.
Samantha is the daughter of Tom and Tami Aleman.
