Adam Taylor Stainbrook, 31, ofYuma,Ariz., passed away Oct. 9, 2012.


Adam was born March 31, 1981 inOverland Park, John and Erin Denise (Nugen) Stainbrook. He grew up in Spring Hill.


Adam graduated fromSpringHillHigh Schoolin 1999 where he was a wrestler. He was also a regional gymnastics champion inMaryland.


Adam served for six years in the U.S. Air Force serving the majority of his time as crew chief on the C-5. He was a member of the American Legion in Princess Anne,Maryland. He was an avid reader and enjoyed cooking for friends and family.


He is survived by his father, John and wife Nadine Stainbrook, of Salisbury, Md.; mother, Erin and Randy “Tim” Horner, of Yuma, Ariz.; paternal grandparents, Robert and Wilma Stainbrook, of Fontana, Kan.; maternal grandparents, Stephen W. and Patricia Nugen, N. M.; siblings: Marc Stainbrook, Bobby Horner, Randi Hewitt, Kristi Wheeler, Terri Batze and Tonya Smith; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.


Graveside memorial service with military honors will be held at 10 a.m., Oct. 16, 2012 at SpringHillCemetery, Spring Hill, KS.
