On Oct. 22, the Kansas Small Business Development Center (Kansas SBDC) network in partnership with Miami County Economic Development, and the Louisburg, Osawatomie, Paola, and Spring Hill Chambers of Commerce will kick off the Kansas SBDC GrowSmart™ Workshop Series in Paola, Kan.
GrowSmart is a five day intensive bootcamp delivered each Thursday for five consecutive weeks. Workshops will run 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and will be held at the Paola Fire Station. Kansas SBDC is offering scholarships to local businesses interested in attending this program.
Only one business per industry will be accepted into the program. Application can be made online at http://www.kansassbdc.net/growsmart or by calling Lisa Roberts (785)296-3331. Applications are competitive and will be closing October 12, 2015.
GrowSmart program provides not only intensive training, but additional support from the Kansas SBDC consulting team at no additional cost to enable and encourage participants to successfully apply what they learn in the series to make positive changes in their businesses.
