On May 27 all district employees gathered at Spring Hill High School to celebrate the year’s accomplishments and honor retirees.
Sharon Mitchell, board of education, opened the ceremony with a recap of the many success in the 2015-16 schoolyear.
Then employees were recognized for their years of service:

5 years: Staci Boan, Alexander Brack, Brett Buffum, Mary Chamberlin, Katie Claar, Ryan Dalton, Chelsea Hargrove, Ronda Ingram, Theresa Kasper, Nicholas Madelen, Matthew Metcalf, Ladonna Miller, Jeffrey Preston, Karianne Radovich, Maria Rich, Jolene Rutledge, Colleen Salmen, Terry Shiver, Caitlin Sinks, Abby Stallbaumer, William Sutcliffe, Janet Taylor, Suzan Wolf, and Lindsey Yoder.

10 years: Patty Broers, Janice Doane, Kelly Ediger, Anna Harwood Donaldson, Mary Honnold, Karen Katzer, Helen Kloepper, Lisa Konzem, Gary Laws, Tami Nichols, Heath Ostmeyer, Jeffrey Thomas, and Stacie Wiliams.

This year two staff members retired from the district.  Linda Sullivan and Jacqueline Fursman, both were teachers at Prairie Creek Elementary School.  Each retiree recognized their family members and recounted their fond memories in the classroom.
