New Life church created one of the prize winning floats. Playing on the Fur and Feathers theme, it featured a life size Slyvester (the puddy cat) who was caged by Tweety Bird.
The GEHS Trailblazer band, under the direction of Will Biggs, marched in the parade. Cheerleading routines were performed in front of the grandstand by GEHS, Trailridge and Wheatridge middle school cheerleaders.
The weather was exceptionally good, there turnout was good – what a great day for a parade!
