‘Blazers soccer squad lose 2-1 at Blue Valley

The ‘Blazers varsity soccer squad pushed Blue Valley to the brink before bowing 2-1 in Eastern Kansas Leauge action, Sept. 20 at Blue Valley.
Blue Valley went up 2-0 in the first half before the ‘Blazers retaliated. Dilon Dodson notched GEHS’ lone goal late in the second half but the ‘Blazers bowed by one tally.
“I’m real proud of our play at Blue Valley,” said Coach Andy Weber. “We broke our scoring drought and played a solid game.”
In JV  action, GEHS played to a 2-2 tie versus Blue Valley getting goals from Brent Spalding and Juan Duque. The JV now holds a 4-2-1 record.
