‘Blazer net team 2nd at Bonner Springs

The number one doubles team of Jordan Keehn and Chris Newberg finished first with a perfect 4-0 record highlighting an impressive performance by the ‘Blazers at the Bonner Springs Invitational, April 12-14.
GEHS finished second as a team in an eight-team invite that featured singles play April 12 and doubles April 14.
“It was an awesome week for GEHS tennis,” said Coach Jon Collum. “We showed a lot of improvement.”
In number one singles, Nathan Laskowski went 3-1 and placed third. Scott Karros posted a 2-2 record in number two singles and placed fourth.
The number two doubles team of Jeff Kanwyer and Carlos Davila posted a 1-2 record in pool play.
The ‘Blazers return home to host their quadrangular, April 21. Action begins at 3:30 p.m.
